An American monthly magazine covering culture, fashion, politics and entertainment, originally founded in 1913.
After ceasing publication in 1936, it was revived in its current form by Condé Nast in 1983 and has published monthly continuously to the present.
This July 1996 issue, priced at $3.50, is The Black & White Issue with Nicolas Cage on the cover, featuring articles on William Styron on J.F.K., Truman Capote's 1966 Black and White Ball, John Grisham v. Oliver Stone, the Princess of Wales, and Pat Robertson.
