Subtitled The Concert Hotwire, is the music industry's trade magazine for the live business, founded in 1981 in Fresno, California and published weekly, still running today in print and daily online.

Unlike fan magazines, it wasn't sold on newsstands for reviews and pin-ups. It was for promoters, agents, venues and managers, tracking tour dates, ticket sales, grosses, routings and industry moves.

It became famous as the bible of concert data, with its year-end Top Tours charts, box-office reports, and annual Pollstar Awards.

This May 18, 1998 cover with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy in traditional '40s-style gabardine suits, onto the national touring scene.
